June 21, 2020: How Hong Kong Nigerians tried to scam me

Sunday, June 21: I did not know who "Emma" was. Emma did not phone me after I asked him to phone after 4pm. Instead he sent more messages from his number: +852 6178 1490

He sent above bill and bank details after I requested them in a phone call he made to me around 7pm Sunday.

 


Info re a drug deal was a red flag - too good to be true. An even bigger red flag was the doctored immigration paper below: stamp is not over photo and text also has been doctored:

Message below possibly indicates that need to pay rent was genuine?

 

 

On the night of Monday June 22, in a phone call to me, Emma would not reply to my question "Why was Immigration paper doctored?" ... he just kept asking for the money. Conversation did not last long. At no stage in this or previous calls was he impolite or threatening.
